Poem (Your diction is distinctly reckless)

Your diction is distinctly reckless;
Its kaleidoscopic honk describes
Some tawdry facts, some filthy truths
In slight high hats and drunk synth tones.

Your words are best when they’re absurd
(& yet so fraught! So lovely!)
In speech that rich there must be taste,
Something a tongue could take away:
A fancy fucking layer cake,
Stacked crooked to the ceiling.
